This is a special machine exclusively meant for the opening or roving, inter and slubbing waste at high speed.
This machine consists of feed lattice 500mm width, 1200mm centers, feed roller of 75mm dia, fluted and chased, wooden collecting roller 100mm dia.
The main cylinder consists of rows of wooden lags fitted with high tensile steel pins. The cylinder is 610mm dia and 435mm wide.
This machine also consists of pedals and weights. The cylinder, feed roller, collecting roller, feed and delivery lattices, cage and cross shaft, are all housed in heavy duty ball bearings.
The perforated sheet gauge is 400mm dia. The delivery lattice is 500mm wide and 760mm centres.
This machine is provided with locking device to cylinder cover and all the gears are well covered. The speed of the cylinder is between 800 to 1000 RPM.
